Qualified applicants should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Five to six years systems analysis/Symitar programming.
- Three years of Internet experience in a business environment.
- Thorough knowledge of Symitar, Windows, NT, UNIX, Rep GEN, JavaScript, Perl, ASP, .NET and web/database design.
- Effective verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
- The ability to speak effectively before groups of members or employees.
- Good problem solving skills.
- The ability to effectively use standard office equipment.
The primary responsibilities for this position include:
- Conducting research and detailed analysis of defined systems specifications and developing detailed program specifications and logic flow charts for use in coding and documenting the system's software programs.
- Conducting a full range of programming tasks.
- Developing operator and control instructions
- Maintaining and updating existing programs of a non-routine nature.
- Developing and maintaining proper program documentation.
- Performing maintenance, error detection/correction and revisions of existing code/languages and system documentation.
- Creating and maintaining the contents of internal and external Web sites. Investigating new technologies.
- Interacting as a liaison between the site and its users. Utilizing knowledge of programming languages.
- Supporting credit union goals and objectives and actively participating in training sessions and special promotions.
- Contributing to credit union growth and profitability goals, and achieving any individual sales objectives and cross-sell quotas.
- Staying informed of our products, services, procedures, new development and knowledge of the competition and their products.
- Keeping your workstation reference materials up to date.
- Working to increase knowledge in sales and service, technical skills and professional development through available internal and external resources.
- Organizing time and resources to meet deadlines and accomplish all work assignments.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
