Recently, the general public and Eagle Community Credit Union members have received multiple phone calls and e-mail fraud attempts, known as "Phishing." People impersonating employees at the credit union have called and e-mailed members asking them for personal information, such as social security numbers, account numbers, credit card numbers, and PIN numbers.
Please be advised: these calls and e-mails are not from Eagle CU. Eagle CU staff will NEVER call or e-mail members to confirm personal or confidential information.
If you are ever unsure about a call or e-mail pertaining to your account, please notify our Member Service Center at 949-588-9400 or (800) EAGLE CU, change your account's PIN number, and forward the suspicious e-mails to msupport@eaglecu.org mentioning what the e-mail contains.
Additionally, you can file formal complaints concerning any suspected fraudulent e-mail with the Internet Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC). The IFCC is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National White Collar Crime Center.
