Notes from the CEO Scott Rains T he year might be winding down, but Eagle is still going strong through this last quarter. We have some exciting new projects in the works that we are anxious to introduce to you soon. The first is a new online and in-branch member application. This will streamline our new member process and make it quicker, easier and more convenient for new members to join. But don’t wait to refer your friends and family, because not only do you earn an instant bonus when they open a new checking account, you both are also entered to win $250 towards your holiday feast! Six lucky winners through the new year! We are also creating our very own insurance company which we’ll introduce to you by year-end. The insurance products will offer competitive rates on everything from auto, life, home, and even pet insurance! A new year is always a good time to evaluate your options and review your insurance to ensure you’re getting the best rates. Watch for more information about our insurance products coming soon. With the recent threat of natural disasters, from hurricanes to wildfires so close to home, we wanted to remind you that Eagle is here for your financial needs if you or a loved one is affected. We offer an Emergency Assistance Loan that is enacted as needed and can be used to help with costs associated with being displaced, loss of items, or anything that helps victims with immediate needs during an emergency. We made this available last year during the Canyon Fire, and most recently for the Trabuco Fire. We hope you are never in need of this loan, but we wanted to make you aware of it either way. Our partner Balance also offers a Financial Relief Hotline with access to personal counselors. The number is (888) 262-4327.
