EZ Switch guide
please use the following 6 EZ steps to switch your accounts and get started.
If you haven't already done so, open an Eagle Checking Account. Select between our Ultimate Checking offering IDProtect®, or our Classic Checking. View a checking comparison here. Once your Checking Account is opened, you will receive your new Eagle MasterCard® Enhanced Debit Card within a week.
Most employers can set up Direct Deposit by providing your checking account number and our routing number (322 281 992).
Postal Employees: Visit LiteBlue at https://ewss.usps.gov/
Federal Employees: Visit https://www.employeeexpress.gov
Social Security Recipients: Visit http://www.fms.treas.gov/godirect/ or Call (800) 772-1213rom Online Banking.
Don't forget to review your old account and determine what automatic debits are coming our of your account. Most companies can switch these payments over the phone, or to be safe, you can also complete this handy Switching Withdrawals Form and send it to them.
Manage your account online anytime with Online Banking. Locate the red Online Banking section at the top of this page and click on "New User" section. Follow the prompts to create your new password. You will need your Debit Card. If you don't yet have yours, contact us to provide you with a temporary password.
MOBILE APP and TextME BANKING
Download our mobile app to your smartphone. Login with your same member number and password from Online Banking. TextMe Banking enrollment is located within Online Banking.
CLOSE OLD ACCOUNTS
Contact your old financial institution and let them know you're now an Eagle member, and that you would like to close your checking account with them. Make it fast and painless. Or use our Close Checking/Savings Account Letter to send to them.
