The Eagle Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee are made up of a group of dedicated volunteers. They are committed to the well-being of Eagle to ensure a sound and secure Credit Union for all Members. They stand behind the credit union philosophy of "People Helping People", "Not for Profit, but for Service", and Eagle's core values around member service.

Miles Friedman - Chairman

Miles Friedman

Miles has been a member of Eagle since 1990 and was appointed to the Supervisory Committee in 2008. His highest education includes a JD and an LLM in Taxation Law from Georgetown University.



Louie Flores - Vice Chairman

Louie Flores

Louie joined the Board of Directors in 2010. He brings 28 years of experience with the U.S. Postal Service and is now retired. Louie has also served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Staff Sergeant (E6) and currently serves as a Reserve Sergeant for the Orange County Sheriff's Department. 


Diane Leinweber - Secretary

Diane LeinweberDiane became a member of Eagle CU in 1983 and joined the Supervisory Committee in 2003. Diane obtained a BA from the University of Wisconsin. After graduating from college, her first job was at a credit union in Los Angeles. Diane says, "It’s in my blood and I feel fortunate to be able to serve others in an industry that has been an important part of my life."


Jackie Deter - Treasurer

Jackie joJaquita Deterined the Supervisory Commitee in 2014 and moved to the Board in 2016. She is currently a Postmaster with the USPS and has been a member of Eagle since 1993.

Neil Mazer

Neil Mills-MazerNeil joined the Supervisory Committee in August 1999 and was appointed to the Board of Directors in August 2002. He is currently employed by the Internal Revenue Service in Los Angeles, CA. Neil volunteers his time to Eagle because he believes in continuing education, and his position on the board is a part of that practice. Neil graduated with a BS in Accounting from Central Connecticut University and a JD from Western State University College of Law.


Duane Anderson

 Duane Anderson- Vice  ChairmanDuane joined Eagle in 1989 and was appointed to the Supervisory Committee the same year. He was elected to the Board of Directors in 1992. He earned his Master of Science in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Hawaii. When speaking of why he volunteers his time to Eagle, Duane says: “The credit union has always meant people helping people to me.”

Charles Morris

Charles Morris - ChairmanCharles was a member of the Supervisory Committee since1985 and was elected to the Board of Directors in 1986. Charles attended Long Beach State University for his undergraduate degree, USC for his graduate degree, and Pepperdine University for his JD. He is currently an Estate and Tax Planning lawyer and has been a member of the California Bar since 1976. The cooperative nature of credit unions and the supportive staff make it worthwhile for Charles to volunteer his time to the Board at Eagle.

Justin Romero - Chairman

Justin has been a member of Eagle Community Credit Union since 2011. He was recently appointed to the Supervisory Committee in 2014. Justin holds a M.A. in Economics and works as an economist for the Department of the Treasury.


Ryan McDonald

Ryan McDonaldRyan joined the board as an intern in 2016 after he was selected as one of our College Scholarship winners. Ryan has been a long time member and advocate and believes strongly in the credit union mission. Ryan is currently completing his MBA from Pepperdine University. 

Brenda Anderson

Brenda AndersonBrenda started as a member of the Supervisory Committee in 1984 and was soon elected to the Board of Directors in 1986. With a BS in Business and a CPA, Brenda is retired from the Internal Revenue Service where she served as a Supervisory Internal Revenue Agent. Brenda volunteers her time to Eagle because she believes it is where people have the best opportunity for financial security and good financial decision making.


Senior Management

Scott Rains - CEO/President

Scott Rains - CEO/PresidentBefore becoming CEO in 2015, Scott served as the CFO at Eagle since 2012. Prior to Eagle Scott held CFO positions at two credit unions for over 13 years. Scott has his CPA license and spent ten years providing audit and attestation services to credit unions with a highly respected CPA firm. Scott is an Orange County native and earned his BA Degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton.

Mary Roberts - Chief Financial Officer

Mary Roberts - CFOMary joined Eagle in 2016 with more than 25 years of financial management experience at both larger credit unions and banks. She has an extensive background in asset liability management, budgeting and planning, and optimizing profitability. Mary is actively involved in the credit union industry, and she currently serves as the Chair of the Credit Union Executive Society (CUES), Southern California & Nevada Council Board. Mary also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills.

Carol Rosas - Vice President of Operations

Carol Rosas - Vice President of OperationsCarol joined Eagle in 2012 and has over 20 years of management experience in the financial industry. She previously held the position of Vice President of Member Services for a Northern California credit union, directing a call center as well as a network of 22 branches over five states. Carol holds a BA Degree from the University of Oregon and graduated from Western CUNA Management School in 2014. 

Erica Beach - Vice President of Marketing

Erica Beach - Vice President of Marketing

Erica joined Eagle in 2012 and has over 11 years management experience in both operations and marketing from two Southern California credit unions. She brings brand management experience working with other industries at an advertising agency. Erica received her B.S. Degree in Business Administration from Chapman University and her MBA in Marketing Management from Pepperdine University in 2011. 

Bob Thompson - Vice President of Lending

Bob Thompson- Vice President of LendingBob joined Eagle in 2016 with over 30 years of experience in the credit union industry in both Northern and Southern California. Previously he was the EVP/COO at a Northern California credit union for 3 years. He has also served in several Vice President positions directing branch operations, call center operations, and contact centers. Bob has lived Orange County for the past 10 years, holds a Bachelor of Science from California State University, Chico and graduated from Western CUNA Management School in 1997.

Jeff Madland - Vice President of Human Resources

Jeff Madland- Vice President of Human ResourcesJeff joined Eagle in 2016 with over 18 years of experience in Human Resources, previously with Fluor Corporation for 10 years. His prior experience spans several other industries including mortgage, home building, engineering / construction and staffing. He has a strong background in recruiting and staffing, benefits, training, compensation and organizational design areas of HR. Jeff received his Bachelor of Science from Utah State University in Business and a Master’s Degree from Penn State University in Human Resources and Employee Relations. 

Thomas Litton - Vice President of Information Technology

Thomas Litton - Assistant Vice President of Information TechnologyThomas joined Eagle in 2010 with over 14 years of experience in information technology. He worked his way up from Jr. Network Administrator, to System Administrator, then IT Manager and now AVP over his time at Eagle. Previously Thomas was a Staff Sergeant with the United States Marine Corps. Thomas is originally from Texas but spent a good part of his childhood in Germany. When he is not responding to IT requests, Tom enjoys cooking, saltwater fishing and Formula One Racing.
